Will the wooden arms withstand moisture? Do they stain?
The beechwood arms on SmartRack are coated and lacquered to withstand moisture. They're designed to be functional and durable, even when exposed to moisture from clothes.
In practice, we haven't experienced any problems with the arms staining, even after long-term use.
In addition, the rack holds 48 hangers, so you can hang your clothes on hangers (plastic or wooden) if you prefer.
Should you dry clothes indoors?
✅ In winter, it's actually recommended in many homes alongside ventilation, as the air is very dry. Drying clothes can help protect wooden floors, furniture and airways from drying out.
✅ In summer, you can still dry clothes indoors, but remember to ventilate well to avoid excessive humidity.

GLS typically delivers next day, but we recommend allowing 1–3 working days. DAO usually delivers within 1–4 days. You choose the carrier at checkout.
Can I dry dresses on the rack?
The rack is 121 cm tall when unfolded, which is often enough for dresses to hang without touching the floor. Alternatively, dresses can be folded over one of the rack's arms.
